Heavy Rain Alert: 4 Cyclonic Circulations Active, Western Disturbance Nears

• Four cyclonic circulations are active over South Assam, northeast Arabian Sea, South Interior Karnataka, and Central Maharashtra.
• A new Western Disturbance is expected to impact the Western Himalayan region from March 2, 2026.
• Light to moderate rainfall with lightning and strong winds predicted for Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Feb 25-26.
• Rain expected in various regions including Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and parts of Karnataka on Feb 25-26.
• Temperature rise of 2-3 degrees Celsius expected in Northwest and Central India plains, 3-5 degrees above normal in many areas.
