Baramati Suicide: 23-Year-Old Dies, Alleges Blackmail in Suicide Note; Case Filed

• A 23-year-old man, Vikram alias Bablu Navnath Kolpe, committed suicide in Baramati, Pune district, citing mental distress and blackmail.
• His suicide note stated, "Mom, forgive me... I am being blackmailed and subjected to a lot of mental distress. That is why I am taking this decision."
• A case has been registered against a young woman and her parents under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) based on a complaint by Vikram's maternal uncle.
• The complaint alleges a five-year relationship, a broken marriage promise, and subsequent mental harassment, blackmail, and threats.
• Police Sub-Inspector Amol Anand Kadam is investigating the incident, which has caused sorrow in the Rui Bayajinagar area.
