Hinjawadi Metro to Extend to Shivajinagar, Easing Pune Commute

•Hinjawadi Metro service will soon operate directly to Shivajinagar, improving travel for Pune residents.
•A 138-meter pedestrian bridge is under construction to connect the District Court Metro Station (last station) with the Puneri Metro Line 3.
•The bridge, being built by Mahametro, will have six columns, with three nearing completion; expected to finish in three months.
•This link will enable quick and safe transfers between metro lines, greatly benefiting thousands of IT employees in Hinjawadi.
•PMRDA claims trial runs are complete, with plans to start the route by April, pending final work at Shivajinagar station.
