Nighoje: Man attacked with sickle on head for Rs 500

• A man was stabbed on the head with a sickle (Koyata) in Pimpri-Chinchwad's Nighoje area over a demand for Rs 500.
• The victim, Ganesh Kulkarni (44), was attacked by an acquaintance, Sarfaraz alias 'Kalwa' Riyaz Sheikh (22).
• The incident occurred on Tuesday night after Kulkarni stated he did not have the Rs 500 demanded by Sarfaraz.
• Mahalunge MIDC police have registered a case of murderous attack against Sarfaraz and are investigating.
