Samvardhana Motherson Acquires Yutaka Auto Parts India 100%

• Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SMIL) has completed the 100% acquisition of Yutaka Auto Parts India Private Limited (YAIPL).
• The acquisition was finalized on March 16, 2026, under a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA), making YAIPL a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samvardhana Motherson International.
• This acquisition is part of a larger global strategy, which included a plan to acquire 81% stake in Japan's Yutaka Giken Co., Ltd. (YGCL) and 11% in Shinnichi Kogyo Co., Ltd. through Motherson Global Investments B.V.
• YGCL is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and holds approximately 62% stake in Shinnichi Kogyo.
• The completion of this process brings the Indian entity fully under the control of the Motherson group, as informed to investors and stock exchanges.
