GCDA demanded a security deposit of Rs 25 lakhs and a match rent fee of Rs 3 lakhs, requiring full payment on Thursday.

The team was forced to train at Kerala Blasters' ground 10 km away, highlighting fresh embarrassment for Indian football.

AIFF stated that formalities would be completed for the Asian Cup Qualifiers match against Hong Kong to proceed as planned.
