Barrackpore Schools Get Sanitary Pad Vending Machines for Girls' Safety

• Sanitary pad vending machines installed in Jagaddal Surabala Girls' High School and other Barrackpore schools.
• Initiative aims to ensure the physical safety and convenience of girl students.
• Pads are available for just one rupee from the automatic vending machines.
• Pad disposal machines have also been installed alongside the vending machines.
• The project was undertaken by the Barrackpore-I Panchayat Samiti in North 24 Parganas.
