Court Dismisses Lawsuit Against OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, But Comeback Route Remains

A US federal judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by Ann Altman against her brother, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

The court ruled that the sexual abuse claims were filed too late, as the alleged incidents dated back decades.

US District Judge Zachary Bluestone stated the claims were "untimely" and exceeded statutory time limits.

However, the court allowed Ann Altman to revise and refile her complaint under Missouri’s Childhood Sexual Abuse statute.
