Indian-origin couple jailed in UK for breaching 13-year ban after £2m tax fraud

•Bharat Jogia was disqualified as a company director for 13 years in 2014 after admitting to a £2 million tax fraud.
•Despite the ban, Jogia continued to control Diamond Pharma Limited and BHJ Consulting Ltd for over five years.
•Louise Jogia was convicted of assisting her husband, acting as a front while he managed operations.
•Bharat Jogia received a nine-month suspended sentence and a further 10-year director ban; Louise Jogia received a seven-month suspended sentence and a 10-year director ban.
