7-year-old Thane boy Reyaansh Khamkar sets world record with 30 km Arabian Sea swim

Reyaansh Khamkar, 7, became the youngest Indian to complete a 30 km solo swim in the Arabian Sea.
•
He swam from Malape Jetty to Vijaydurg in 7 hours, 30 minutes, and 11 seconds, earning a spot in the World Book of Records London.
•
Thane Mayor Sharmila Pimpalolkar congratulated Reyaansh, calling his achievement a matter of pride for Thanekars.
•
Reyaansh, a student of Saraswati English Medium School, trains under coach Kailas Akhade of the Starfish Sports Foundation.
•
He previously completed a 15 km sea swim at age 6, recognized by the India Book of Records, and has won 13 medals in various competitions.
