Beed Man Booked for Duping Contractor of Rs 22.8 Lakh in Sugarcane Workforce Scam

•Sudhakar Bhanudas Rathod booked for allegedly duping labour contractor Ramkisan Shankar Chole of Rs 22.8 lakh.
•Rathod promised to supply 32 workers and two vehicles for sugarcane harvesting in Maharashtra's Beed district.
•Chole, who had an agreement with a Karnataka sugar factory, transferred the entire amount to Rathod's bank account.
•Rathod failed to provide the promised workforce for the 2021-2022 crushing season and later threatened Chole.
•Wadwani police registered a case; investigation is ongoing, but no arrests have been made yet.
