UP STF arrests man in Rs 15,000-crore GST scam from Haryana

•Uttar Pradesh STF, Noida Unit, arrested Baldev alias Balli (38) from Hisar, Haryana.
•Accused was wanted in an alleged Rs 15,000-crore GST fraud and carried a Rs 50,000 reward.
•He allegedly used PAN details of unsuspecting individuals to create 3,500 fake firms and generate bogus invoices.
•The scam involved fraudulently claiming input tax credit, causing significant loss to the government.
•Multiple cases, including under the Gangsters Act, have been registered against the accused.
