CBI Nabs Proclaimed Offender in DA Case After 13 Years on the Run

•CBI arrested Santosh Kumar, a proclaimed offender, in a disproportionate assets case.
•Kumar was apprehended in Delhi on February 20 based on technical intelligence and ground verification.
•The case, registered in 2008, involves former BSNL GM Chandra Shekhar and others for conspiracy, cheating, and forgery.
•Kumar allegedly projected himself as a director of a private company to claim ownership of Rs 85 lakh, creating a false trail with forged documents.
•Declared a proclaimed offender in 2011, Kumar will now be produced before the CBI court in Panchkula.
