CBI arrests proclaimed offender Santosh Kumar in disproportionate assets case after 13 years
•CBI arrested Santosh Kumar, a proclaimed offender, in a disproportionate assets case registered in 2008.
•Kumar was accused of conspiring with Chandra Shekhar, then GM, BSNL, Rohtak, and others in a case involving conspiracy, cheating, and forgery.
•He allegedly projected himself as a Director of M/s LVL Infrastructure Ltd. to claim ownership of Rs. 85,00,000 recovered during search proceedings, creating a false ownership trail with forged documents.
•Santosh Kumar was declared a Proclaimed Offender on March 24, 2011, after failing to join the trial.
•His location was pinpointed in Delhi using technical intelligence and ground verification, leading to his arrest.
