CIAL to become complete aviation ecosystem: CM Vijayan unveils ambitious expansion

• Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced CIAL's transformation into a complete aviation ecosystem, inaugurating the first phase of the aero park at Nedumbassery.
• The project includes an IT Park (phase two) and an aero city (phase three), to be realized soon, demonstrating CIAL's adaptive development.
• The aero park is designed as a dedicated zone for aviation-related maintenance, training, and technical support services, functioning as a special economic zone.
• New facilities inaugurated include the CIASL Business Centre, a Technical Services Facility, and India’s largest Aviation Breathing Apparatus Training Gallery.
• Construction began on an aviation pressure-fed firefighting facility and India's first airport underwater rescue training facility, enhancing safety and training capabilities.
