CIAL Aero Park Propels Kochi Airport into Aviation Hub Era, CM Vijayan Inaugurates First Phase

• Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the first phase of CIAL Aero Park, aiming to transform Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) into a complete aviation ecosystem.
• The Aero Park, a dedicated hub for aviation maintenance, training, and technical support, features new infrastructure worth ₹101 crore, including aircraft maintenance bays and training halls.
• The project is expected to create around 2,000 direct jobs and nearly 6,000 indirect jobs, functioning as a special economic zone.
• CM Vijayan also dedicated the CIASL Business Centre, a technical services facility, and India’s largest Aviation Breathing Apparatus Training Gallery, while inaugurating new safety training facilities.
• Minister P. Rajeev highlighted CIAL's exemplary development model, its swift recovery post-Covid, and its high dividend payout to shareholders, emphasizing business diversification.
