Delhi to get new medical college in Dwarka, costing over Rs 800 crore

Delhi government plans a new medical college in Dwarka's Sector 17, estimated to cost over Rs 800 crore.
•
The proposal was discussed in a meeting led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
•
The college will feature an eight-storey academic block, hostels, faculty residences, sports ground, and smart classrooms.
•
It will be a green building with energy-efficient features like LED lighting, thermal insulation, rainwater harvesting, and solar panels.
•
Hostels will accommodate 338 boys and girls each for MBBS students, plus facilities for PGs and interns. Faculty residences are also planned.
