DGGI Busts Rs 177 Cr GST Fraud: Two Arrested, Mastermind Absconding

The Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGI) arrested two individuals in a Rs 177 crore GST fraud case.
•
The arrests were made by DGGI’s Visakhapatnam Zonal Unit in Hyderabad, targeting inter-state fraud networks.
•
Accused Siddagone Prabhaker and Ramavath Nagaraju Naik allegedly operated 66 shell proprietorship firms.
•
The operation is part of an intensified crackdown on organised GST evasion and aims to dismantle large-scale inter-state fraud structures.
•
Another alleged mastermind, Aadi Reddy alias Anji Reddy, is currently absconding.
