DU to Offer M.Sc Elective in Linguistic Anthropology, Bridging Key Knowledge Gap

• Delhi University's Anthropology Department proposes a new M.Sc elective on 'Linguistic Anthropology' for the second year of the master’s programme under PGCF 2024.
• The four-credit paper, titled ‘M.Sc Linguistic Anthropology’, will cover topics like language use, linguistic forms, and Sanskrit as an ancient Indian language.
• Professor Dannarapu Venkata Prasad confirmed the paper will be presented for approval, aiming to become a core subject eventually.
