• Cyber fraudsters posed as CBI officers, threatening her with arrest in a money-laundering case.
• The victim was told her phone number was linked to a Rs 68 crore money-laundering case and her children would face legal action if she disclosed information.
• She was coerced into transferring Rs 3.09 crore to the fraudsters' accounts between September and October 2025.
• The woman broke fixed deposits, sold shares, and mortgaged jewelry to pay the scammers; police have initiated an investigation.
