Former TDB Official K S Baiju Gets Statutory Bail in Sabarimala Gold Loss Case

•Kollam Vigilance Court granted statutory bail to former Thiruvabharanam Commissioner K S Baiju.
•Bail was granted as the SIT failed to file a charge sheet within 90 days of his arrest in the Dwarapalaka case.
•Baiju is the seventh accused in the Dwarapalaka case and was previously granted bail in a second case.
•He is expected to be released from jail soon, being the seventh person to receive bail in the case.
•The SIT alleged gold artefacts were handed to the prime accused in 2019 when Baiju was Commissioner.
