Haryana Metro Ridership Soars 13% in 2025-26, Revenue Jumps
•Haryana's metro ridership increased by 13.55% in 2025-26, reaching over 1.74 crore passengers.
•Fare revenue rose by 12.64% and non-fare revenue surged by 108% due to monetisation of station spaces and advertisements.
•Rapid Metro achieved an operating surplus, with further initiatives like station naming rights expected to boost finances.
•Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi praised the growth, attributing it to a successful transport strategy and rising commuter confidence.
•New metro projects are underway, including Gurugram Sector 56 to Panchgaon, Gurugram-Faridabad Namo Bharat corridor, Delhi-Kundli extension, and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal RRTS.
