HMSI to Invest Rs 1,500 Crore in New Production Line at Tapukara Plant

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) will invest Rs 1,500 crore to establish a third production line at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.
•
The new line, operational by 2028, will add 6.7 lakh units annually, increasing the plant's total capacity to 2.01 million units.
•
This expansion will create over 2,000 employment opportunities and enhance HMSI's overall annual production capacity to 8 million units by FY28.
•
The investment aims to strengthen the production ecosystem, improve supply chain resilience, and meet growing market demand.
•
HMSI is also adding a fourth production line at its Vithalapur plant, scheduled to begin operations in 2027.
