HMSI to Invest Rs 1,500 Crore in New Production Line at Tapukara Plant

•Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) will invest Rs 1,500 crore to establish a third production line at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.
•The new line, operational by 2028, will add 6.7 lakh units annually, increasing the plant's total capacity to 2.01 million units.
•This expansion will create over 2,000 employment opportunities and enhance HMSI's overall annual production capacity to 8 million units by FY28.
•The investment aims to strengthen the production ecosystem, improve supply chain resilience, and meet growing market demand.
•HMSI is also adding a fourth production line at its Vithalapur plant, scheduled to begin operations in 2027.
