•India's stationary energy storage market surged 1.8x in one year, from 122 GWh to 224 GWh, with a robust project pipeline of 60 GWh under execution.
•New Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) tenders totaling 102 GWh were issued last year, marking a 35% jump over 2024 and nearly doubling the annual volume.
•The white paper details critical policy milestones, including Energy Storage Obligations (ESO), Viability Gap Funding (VGF), and recognition in Electricity Amendment Rules 2025.
