India-Brazil Boost Pharma, Mining Ties with Key MoUs
•BahiaFarma, Biocon Biologics, and Bionovis signed an MoU for the development of Pertuzumab, a medicine for HER-2 metastatic breast cancer.
•NMDC Ltd, Vale SA, and Adani Gangavaram Port Ltd inked an MoU for a USD 500 million SEZ facility at Gangavaram Port for blending and selling iron ore fines.
•Farmanguinhos/Fiocruz and Biocon Pharma Ltd signed an MoU for R&D in strategic pharmaceutical ingredients and medicines for SUS, focusing on rare diseases, oncology, and immunosuppressants.
•The agreements were signed during the India-Brazil Business Forum in the presence of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.
•ApexBrasil and FICCI also signed a pact to enhance trade and foreign direct investments between India and Brazil.
