India's Urea Production Soars to 275.75 Lakh Tons in Apr-Feb FY'26

•India's urea production reached 275.75 lakh tonnes in the first eleven months of the current fiscal (Apr-Feb FY'26).
•The total urea production for the entire 2024-25 fiscal stood at 306.67 lakh tonnes.
•Currently, there are 33 urea manufacturing units in India with a total annual production capacity of 269.42 lakh tonnes.
•Government initiatives over the last 11 years have boosted urea production from 225 lakh tonnes in 2014-15 to a record 314.07 lakh tonnes in 2023-24.
•Sales of Nano Urea and Nano DAP in April-January 2025-26 were 182.50 lakh bottles and 144.93 lakh bottles, respectively.
