Kaushambi Man Jailed 10 Years for Rape on Pretext of Marriage

•A Kaushambi court sentenced Chhottan Sonkar to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for rape.
•Sonkar was found guilty of raping a woman on the pretext of marrying her.
•The complaint was filed by Gogia Devi at Saini Police Station on June 25, 2017.
•Special Judge (POCSO Act) Ashok Kumar Srivastava convicted Sonkar.
•In addition to imprisonment, Sonkar was also fined Rs 20,000.
