Meerut Court Jails Man for 20 Years for Raping Minor

•A special POCSO court in Meerut sentenced Zahid alias Gullu to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment.
•The man was convicted for raping his 10-year-old neighbour's daughter in 2024.
•The victim's father lodged a complaint, stating the accused threatened the family if reported.
•A case was registered on January 8, 2024, under IPC and POCSO Act sections.
•Additional District Judge Shivani Singh also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on the convict.
