Kerala Hikes DA to 35% for Employees, Pensioners; March Salary to Reflect Changes
- •Kerala government raises Dearness Allowance (DA) from 25% to 35% for state and local body employees, teachers, and aided school/college staff.
- •Full-time contingent employees, part-time teachers, and re-employed pensioners will also receive the increased DA.
- •Dearness Relief (DR) for state service, family, ex-gratia, and ex-gratia family pensioners also hiked, payable with April pension.
- •Local bodies must cover additional expenditure from their own funds; PSUs and autonomous bodies can implement based on financial capacity.
- •The hike does not apply to Kerala State Electricity Board and Kerala State Road Transport Corporation, which will issue separate orders.
