Kerala Polls: Nearly 2 Lakh Voters Cast Ballots From Home

Close to 2 lakh voters in Kerala, including those aged 85+ and persons with disabilities, have cast their votes from home for the Assembly elections.
•
The home voting process began on Monday and continued until Friday.
•
128,381 senior citizen absentee voters (AVSC) and 55,406 absentee voters with disabilities (AVPD) have exercised their franchise.
•
The Election Commission deployed 2,468 teams to assist absentee voters.
•
Elections for 140 seats in Kerala are on April 9, with vote counting on May 4.
