Land Dispute Murder: Six get 10-year jail term in Ballia

Six individuals sentenced to 10 years in jail for a 2014 culpable homicide case in Ballia, UP.
•
The case pertains to the killing of Jaishankar over a land dispute in Haldi Paschim village 12 years ago.
•
Accused Harendra Yadav, Ravindra Yadav, Babita, Sahati, Urmila Devi, and Vinod Yadav attacked Jaishankar with sticks and rods.
•
Jaishankar was critically injured on May 14, 2014, and died during treatment.
•
Additional Sessions Judge Ram Kripal held all six guilty and imposed a fine of Rs 91,000 on each.
