Maharashtra approves Rs 17.94 Cr for Nanded ITI hostel; 300 students to benefit

• Maharashtra government approved Rs 17.94 crore for a new hostel at Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Nanded.
• The previous hostel was dilapidated and shut down years ago, forcing students, especially from rural and economically weaker sections, to rent expensive private rooms.
• Nanded MP Ravindra Chavan had urged the Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department to address the issue.
• The new hostel will accommodate 300 students, significantly reducing their financial burden and allowing them to focus on studies.
