Man mauled to death by leopard in Pauri; orders issued to capture animal

• Prakash Lal (48) was attacked by a leopard near Jamla village, Pauri, on Monday evening.
• His body was found Tuesday morning, 50 meters into bushes, with drag marks on the road.
• Angry villagers confronted forest officials, demanding the leopard's capture.
• Divisional Forest Officer Mahatim Yadav ordered the leopard's capture, tranquilization, or killing.
• A cage and cameras have been installed, and a team will be deployed to capture the animal. Compensation proceedings for the victim’s family are underway.
