Murder Accused on Run Since 2023 Nabbed in Gujarat by Delhi Police

• Atonu Halder, alias Atul Halder, a 23-year-old murder accused, was arrested in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
• Halder had been on the run for nearly three years and carried a Rs 50,000 reward for his capture.
• The case dates back to September 2023, when a man was attacked and later succumbed to his injuries in southwest Delhi.
• Six other alleged assailants were previously arrested, but Halder remained at large and was declared a proclaimed offender.
• Halder admitted his involvement and revealed he fled to Mumbai, then Prayagraj, and finally Gujarat, where he worked as a store helper.
