NIA Court Sends 7 Foreigners to 11-Day Custody in Drone Smuggling, Insurgency Case

• Special NIA Court remanded 6 Ukrainians and 1 US citizen to 11 days of NIA custody until March 27.
• Accused of entering Mizoram (protected area) and Myanmar to contact ethnic war groups.
• NIA alleges they trained in Myanmar and were training ethnic war groups linked to Indian insurgent groups.
• They are also accused of bringing a huge consignment of Drones from Europe via India.
• The foreigners were arrested from Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata.
