Odisha Installs Rooftop Solar on 46,793 Buildings Under Central Scheme: Deputy CM

•Odisha has installed rooftop solar plants on 46,793 buildings under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
•Deputy CM KV Singh Deo informed the Assembly about the progress, with 2,01,443 applications received.
•Subsidies have been released to 35,966 beneficiaries of the scheme.
•OREDA installed rooftop solar plants on 28 government offices in Bhubaneswar with a total capacity of 1850 KW.
•The central government provides Rs 78,000 subsidy, and the state adds Rs 60,000 for up to 3 KW plants; Rs 1,800 crore allocated by state.
