Odisha Vigilance arrests additional tahsildar for taking bribe

• Odisha Vigilance Department arrested Kabiraj Sethi, additional tahsildar of Belaguntha, Ganjam district.
• Sethi was arrested for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a tractor owner.
• The tahsildar had seized a sand-laden tractor on February 5 without official record.
• Despite the owner submitting documents and paying a Rs 30,000 fine, Sethi demanded a bribe for release.
• Vigilance officers laid a trap based on the owner's complaint, apprehending Sethi and seizing the bribe money.
