Palghar: Two Revenue Officials Arrested for Bribe in PMAY Scheme

• Two revenue officials, Gajanan Nagesh Johre and Sitaram Vishnu Indhan, arrested in Palghar for demanding and accepting a bribe.
• Accused intercepted a PMAY beneficiary transporting sand and demanded Rs 40,000.
• The complainant initially paid Rs 20,000 and later approached the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
• Officials agreed to a final amount of Rs 10,000 after negotiation.
