Rs 25 Lakh Ornaments, Cash Stolen from Shiva Temple in UP's Barabanki

• Silver ornaments, cash, and CCTV equipment worth approximately Rs 25 lakh were stolen from the Avsaneswar Mahadev Shiva temple in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh.
• Thieves, wearing monkey caps, allegedly broke into the temple around 3 am on Tuesday, as reported by temple committee president Sanjay Giri.
• They stole the silver canopy above the Shivling, silver coverings, other silver ornaments, and cash from the donation box.
• The culprits also took the CCTV recording system to prevent identification.
• Police have registered a case against unknown persons, and three crime branch teams have been formed to investigate and apprehend the thieves.
