• Tamil Nadu Minister Govi Chezhiaan distributed laptops to 993 students at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College under the Ulagam Ungal Kaiyil scheme.
• The minister urged students to utilize laptops for higher studies and employment, emphasizing their role in achieving Tamil Nadu's one-trillion-dollar economy goal by 2030.
• This distribution is part of a statewide initiative by CM M K Stalin to provide laptops to 20 lakh higher education students.
• Chezhiaan highlighted other pioneering schemes like ‘Naan Mudhalvan’, ‘Pudhumai Penn’, and ‘Tamil Pudhalvan’ aimed at student excellence.
