Thane Man Loses Rs 34 Lakh in Matrimonial Site Crypto Scam

• A 30-year-old Thane man was defrauded of nearly Rs 34 lakh by a woman he met on a matrimonial website.
• The accused, identified as Archana Gowda, lured him into a fraudulent cryptocurrency investment scheme.
• The man invested Rs 34,10,300 between December 26, 2025, and February 13, 2026, on promises of high returns.
• He later discovered the investment platform was fake and reported the incident to Kapurbawdi police.
• Police have registered a case and are investigating to trace the fraudster and the money trail.
