Tiger Carcass Found in Kaziranga: Infighting Suspected

A tiger carcass was recovered from the Burapahar range of Kaziranga National Park in Assam.

The 12-year-old male tiger's carcass was spotted in the Baneswar forest camp area near the Brahmaputra river.
•
Forest officials rushed to the spot after being informed by forest guards.
•
An autopsy was conducted on the spot, and infighting between big cats is suspected due to visible injury marks.
•
The carcass was buried near the incident site following due procedure.
