Ultraviolette to Invest Rs 200 Cr in Karnataka for Capacity Expansion
•Electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette Automotive plans to invest Rs 200 crore in the first phase of capacity expansion in Karnataka.
•The company has a five-year investment plan to expand its manufacturing footprint, including a new plant with 150,000 units annual capacity in the second phase.
•Ultraviolette signed an MoU with the Karnataka government for the expansion during the ‘Invest Karnataka’ Conclave.
•CEO Narayan Subramaniam highlighted Karnataka's EV ecosystem, talent, and policy support as key factors.
•The current annual production capacity is 30,000 units, scalable up to 50,000 units.
