Maruti Suzuki Sets Green Logistics Record: 5.85 Lakh Vehicles Shipped by Rail

Maruti Suzuki dispatched over 5.85 lakh vehicles via railways in 2025, an 18% increase from the previous year.
•
Rail transport share grew from 5.1% in 2016 to 26% by 2025, significantly reducing CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
•
The company saved 87,904 metric tons of CO2 emissions and 68.7 million liters of fuel.
•
Maruti Suzuki inaugurated India's largest in-plant railway siding at Manesar and dispatched vehicles to Kashmir Valley via the Chenab River bridge.
•
The company aims to increase rail-based vehicle dispatch to 35% by 2030-31, supporting India's Net-Zero target.
