• The plant, located at Valinokkam in Ramanathapuram district, will produce iodised vacuum salt dried (IVSD) with a capacity of 210 kilotonnes per annum.
• The project aims to diversify production, strengthen supply in southern markets, and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Expected to be completed within 36 months, the investment will be funded through internal accruals or external financing.
