•Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed announced retirement from all international cricket on March 15, 2026.
•He is the only Pakistan captain to win ICC titles at both U-19 (2006) and senior levels (2017 Champions Trophy).
•Led Pakistan to a memorable victory over arch-rivals India in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final.
•Played 232 international matches, scoring 6,164 runs with 6 centuries and 35 half-centuries.
•Already serving as a national selector and coached Pakistan U-19 to an Asia Cup title.
