MHA Amends BSF Assistant Commandant Rules, Raises Age Limit to 60
- •The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has amended recruitment rules for Assistant Commandant (Official Language) in BSF.
- •The key change includes raising the upper age limit for deputation from 57 to 60 years.
- •Revised eligibility conditions now allow officers from Central/State governments, PSUs, universities, etc., to apply.
- •Applicants need a Master's degree in Hindi or English and three years of translation, teaching, or research experience.
- •Departmental Subedar Major (Hindi Translator) in Level-8 with four years of regular service is also eligible.
