Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: 80% Funds Spent, 64% Operational So Far
•
Nearly 64% of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is operational, with over 80% of the project cost already spent.
•
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed that 929 km out of 1,445 km, including spur connectivity, is operational.
•
The sanctioned cost is Rs 96,547 crore, with an expenditure of Rs 77,558 crore incurred up to December 2025.
•
The Delhi-Vadodara section (912 km) is targeted for completion by June 2026, with 697 km already operational.
•
Delays in certain packages in Gujarat have pushed completion targets to March 2028 for those sections.
