PM Modi's Assam Visit: ₹47,800 Crore Projects to Transform State Development

• PM Modi to visit Assam on March 13-14, inaugurating, dedicating, and laying foundation stones for projects worth over ₹47,800 crore across Kokrajhar, Guwahati, and Silchar.
• Key infrastructure initiatives include Assam Mala 3.0 for road development, six road projects in BTC, and a periodic overhauling workshop at Bashbari for railways.
• Three new train services, including Kamakhya-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express, will boost connectivity in the Northeast and with southern India.
• In Guwahati, PM will distribute land pattas to tea garden workers, release PM-KISAN's 22nd instalment, and dedicate Kopili Hydro-Electric Project and NSPL capacity expansion.
• Silchar will see the foundation stone for the Shillong-Silchar Corridor, Northeast's first access-controlled Greenfield four-lane highway, and a new College of Agriculture.
