PM Modi to launch ₹5,450 crore projects in Assam, inaugurate IIM Guwahati

• PM Modi to visit Assam on February 14, 2026, for a day-long visit focusing on defence, transport, and digital expansion.
• He will land at the Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) on Moran Bypass, Dibrugarh, the first such dual-use facility in Northeast India.
• PM will inaugurate the Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu, a six-lane bridge across the Brahmaputra, reducing travel time between Guwahati and North Guwahati.
• Projects worth over ₹5,450 crore will be launched, including the National Data Centre for the North Eastern Region and IIM Guwahati.
• 225 electric buses will be flagged off under the PM-eBus Sewa Scheme, with 100 for Guwahati, enhancing public transport.
